MATTHEW TYLDESLEY
Matthew Tyldesley is an artist, hairstylist, editorial hairstylist and hair educator from Louisville, Kentucky. He has been a skilled hairstylist who has been practicing his craft behind the chair for the last 22 years. Having graduated from cosmetology school in louisville, Matthew furthered his education by attending trades shows and hands on classes in design, haircolor, business and customer service. He caters to his amazing and diverse clientele at his studio salon, “Hair By Matthew Tyldesley”. His many years of working with the public allows him to balance both creativity and customer service. Matthew is an American Board Certified Haircolorist who understand the importance of education and has attended numerous classes and taken certifications specializing in both business and haircare. He specializes in various lightening, creative and corrective hair color technique. Catering to both men and woman, Matthew specializes in long hairstyling, mens hairstyling and wig and extension making.
In addition to working behind the chair, Matthew was a former educator for Redken for a decade who has facilitated classes for other stylists throughout the region specializing in hair color and styling in salons, beauty supply distributors and at the Redken in Exchange in NYC as co-facilitator of “Photo Finish”. Also as a session artist traveling and working backstage with designers, models and hair and make up teams at hair and fashion shows such as Centricity, Premier, Redken Symposium, NYFW, LAFW, MTV, Miss America and NCFA Style Week.
Matthew’s talent and skill set continues to drive him to perfect his craft by orchestrating photo shoots with local photographers, designers, models and make up artists and has been published nationally, internationally, in print, film, online and in industry publications such magazines as American Salon, Modern Salon, Beauty Launchpad, Elegant, Faddy, Extol, Churchill Downs Magazine and The Voice of Louisville.
In his spare time Matthew continues to push his creativity at his home art studio
